stood in an elevator facing everyone else and not the doors? Probably not right?
Its just not done is it? Why not? It’s perfectly safe and it’s the same elevator getting you to your destination that everyone else it taking. But its not normal mainly because it’s not what everyone else is doing.
But so what?
Take a look at what your competitors are doing and see if you can fly in the face of it. Are your competitors giving away little add-on trinkets, or coupons, or discounts – do something different.
Figuring out what that is may take a bit of time, but if you get it right you’ll change the discussion, shift the focus to your product and you’ll be surprised by how many people will take notice.
